If I close my eyes tight,
I can see a make-shift light.
Tucking me in,
Saying: "Ask forgiveness for your sins."

Then again,
There's your hand,
Tugging my body,
So I can stand.

I screamed at you,
My voice smashed down without a sound,
And how did you react?
You said "I love you" right back.

My cheeks are wet,
But I bet-
You'd make me smile,
Erasing the tears all the while.

I need you,
I can't laugh,
I would not enjoy anything,
If you were not a part of my "everything."

I pray everyday,
That you're okay,
And that I'll always be allowed to say,
"Please stay…"
