Trapped in this room,
So tortured by these photographs forever more, and so my knees weakened,
And I collapsed down to the floor.

Doesn't dress to impress,
She's feeling so oppressed.
Beauty isn't her category-
Does that mean she possesses no glory?

The smile on her face is beaten along,
And her lungs are full of salt water-
Waiting to drown as her soul is humiliated like a clown,
Sing her a song.

One thousand pictures hang on the plaster.
Years of laughter,
All end with disaster.

Glasses slide down her nose, and she already knows.
Every staring face is a waste, but their words have no taste.
All that lost time spent merely to hesitate,
And bruised by all the years of trivial and demeaning hate-
Was it all so great?

The smile on her face beaten along,
And her lungs are full of salt water-
Waiting to be drug down once more,
Sing her a song.
That's all she could ask for.
needs to be edited I know, I know..
